UPDATE: TORNADO CONFIRMED The NWS confirmed that an EF-0 tornado touched down in Alexandria early Tuesday morning. Here's the tornado damage at Thomas Jefferson High School in Alexandria. Supercell moved through the area at 5:45 am Tuesday and was tornado warned for a radar indicated tornado. Several sheds were destroyed by trees, fences blown down, and a large container was tossed over 500 feet. Damage is 100-200 feet wide in places.
