Mount Greylock State Reservation flash hike up Mount Williams. Hiking on the North side of Greylock for the day we got on the Appalachian Trail where it crosses Notch Road at the Wilbur's Clearing kiosk heading South to make the climb on this very rocky section. We spent this weekend at Mount Greylock State Reservation, hiking Mount Prospect, Prospect Mountain, Mount Williams, Money Brook Falls, Wilburs Clearing, the Old Summit Road, Deer Hill Trail, Rounds Rock and camped out at the Deer Hill Shelter. Learning about and exploring this highest elevation mountain in the state is truly an amazing experience. When all the hiking was done, we stopped in to the Visitors Center. 360 cam views! Rounds Rock at Mount Greylock State Reservation coming up from the South side its the first trail loop with some spectacular views in just a mile. At 2,566 feet of elevation this trail is for everyone with two vistas and a plane crash memorial site and a boundary stone. Jabez Rounds once farmed this land in the early 1800s.
