Custom Schluter shower curb tips…I’m using 2-inch KERDI-BOARD to build custom curbs. I use a Diablo framing blade to cut them. Then Schluter ALL-SET is used to bond the curbs together and against the shower tray, walls, & floor. These curbs are strong and will support any size shower door. Shower wall backer board tips…I do five things before adding my KERDI-BOARD. I ensure the studs are plumb, even with each other, and there’s blocking in corners. I also add steel plates to protect electrical and plumbing. Side note, yes, I added a plate that was missing on the plumbing wall.
