In Hopi mythology, the Ant People are benevolent beings who helped the Hopi survive cataclysms by sheltering them underground. These beings, known as Anu Sinom in the Hopi language, are depicted as generous and industrious, teaching the Hopi about food storage and giving them food during times of scarcity.
