The International University of Management (IUM) has expanded to Eenhana in the Ohangwena Region. Namibia's first private university, founded in 1994 by Professor David Namwandi, now hosts campuses in Windhoek, Swakopmund, Nkurenkuru, and Ongwediva. Ohangwena Governor Sebastian Ndeitunga commended Namwandi for bringing education closer to the people of his region.
