Gumby is a children's TV program that debuted in 1955. Created by Art Clokey, the characters of the show were rendered using claymation, (clay animation and stop-action photography) to create individual scenes. In the 60 years since his creation, Gumby and his orange horse Pokey, have become the most famous claymation characters of all time.
