Is Pcpartpicker a good website if I want to build my own PC?

It is still valuable to know which part is cheaper, and a small better featur it has which shows daily price drops/increase(specially helpful if you need some particular brand/part).

Feb 17, 2021 · Boot issues and clicking noises when turning on pc etc. Finding one now days is really hard, and 1000w and above is just not happening where i live atm. So i put all my parts and fans etc into pcpartpicker and it tells me that it estimate it to use about 690 watt. But reading online, they recommend atleast a 850w for a i9-9900k and a 3090.

May 4, 2023 · PCPartPicker looks at several retailers (Newegg included), so you will sometimes find better deals on the same parts and have more choice in parts if you use pcpp as your main search/build tool. It doesn’t hurt to look at elsewhere as well, but that’s also the reason you don’t want to look only at Newegg.
