Can someone give a rundown on why Anthony Bennett was …
Anthony Bennett actually had a more intriguing skillset (maybe other than nerlens who was hurt) than all of them as a heavy big man with versatility flashes. It was definitely a pure upside swing so I don’t really blame Cleveland. Maybe they thought he had some untapped athleticism as he appeared to be somewhat overweight in college
How soon into Anthony Bennett’s career did the NBA world
Bennett was actually a good player at UNLV but he shouldn’t have gone that high in his draft class. But I remember that draft class being considered the weakest NBA draft in recent memory. Why was Anthony Bennett so bad? : r/nba - Reddit
Bennett was a bad player in a fairly weak draft class. With hindsight Giannis should have gone first, but at the time was a skinny kid who had not played against real competition. Fultz’s draft has proven to have been absolutely stacked with many players looking like they are going to be long time high level contributors in the league.

Jul 22, 2021 · Anthony Bennett had no effort on or off the court. His basketball IQ was nearly negative , which is a sign that he didn't pay attention to coaches at the high school or college level, and what's worse is physically he clearly put even less effort into staying in shape.
