Winter Storm Warning issued in Kentuckiana as more heavy snow approaches
The National Weather Service (NWS) in Louisville has issued a Winter Storm Warning for every county in the WHAS11 viewing area from 4 a.m. Friday until 7 a.m. Saturday. Heavy snowfall will occur Friday afternoon bringing an additional 3-6 inches of snow across central Kentucky and 1-3 inches in southern Indiana.

Locally, Owensville, Landen and Cleves recorded 11 inches of snow. The storm total for snow at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport was 10.6 inches measured at 7 p.m. Monday. Here are some of the higher readings seen around Greater Cincinnati on Monday:

The first wave of snow began early Sunday and conditions worsened throughout the day into the evening as snow was replaced by freezing rain.
