Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky got to work in the United States on Monday on lobbying the current and potential future leadership to sign up to his vision of how his country can win its war with Russia.

Mr Zelensky has chosen the latter, opting to head to the US with what he has described as a “victory plan”. Details remain a closely guarded secret, saved for meetings with Joe Biden, the US president, and those vying to replace him in the White House, Donald Trump and Kamala Harris.
