Snowfall will continue into Monday with another 1 to 3 inches possible atop the accumulation Sunday. CPS and a slew of other districts have closed.

Several counties across Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky remain under snow emergencies Wednesday in the wake of a winter storm.

Heavy snowfall in the late hours of Sunday has led to a Level 2 snow emergency in Muskingum County, according to Sheriff Matt Lutz. Lutz said the southern half of the county has been hit harder than the northern due to heavy snowfall in the late evening hours. That, he said, requires low traffic levels so road crews can clear roads.

Both Sandusky and Ottawa counties were put under Level 1 Snow Emergency status Monday morning. Icy conditions are reported across Sandusky County. All schools in Sandusky and Ottawa counties are closed.

Hamilton County got its snow plows back on the road around 4 a.m. Monday after officials chose to pause work for five hours overnight.
