Now that the Galaxy S25 Edge is almost here, we know that the answer is a bit of both – and while the Galaxy S25 Edge has joined the existing lineup without replacing any of the existing models, I do think it could signal the beginning of the end for the Plus.

The Galaxy S25 Edge is a missed opportunity for Samsung, which should've waited for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 instead to introduce a revolutionary, thinner design.

While thinness of the S25 Edge may be its biggest draw, the real prize is the way Samsung figured out how to make a much cooler version of the S25+.
