'No Kings' protest in Downtown Austin draws more than 20,000 to Texas Capitol, Auditorium Shores
In all, more than 2,500 demonstrations took place nationwide in the largest mobilization of protests since President Trump returned to office.
Organizers said some 2,600 protests were planned in the U.S. on Saturday. The protests were largely peaceful, as demonstrators united in their stated aim to safeguard the country's democratic values.

Austin's 'No Kings' protest to take place in downtown
Thousands of protesters will take to the streets nationwide, including right here in Central Texas. It's part of the nationwide “No Kings” movement.
The governor called the planned protest an "antifa-linked demonstration." Nearly 100 events will take place over the weekend throughout the Lone Star State.
