A former HMP Wandsworth prison officer who was filmed having sex with an inmate has been jailed for 15 months. Linda De Sousa Abreu was identified by senior prison staff after the clip was shared online and quickly went viral.

Linda De Sousa Abreu was jailed for 15 months in Fulham, London on January 6 after a video of her having sex with an inmate in a cell at HMP Wandsworth on June 25 last year began circulating on social media.

De Sousa Abreu pleaded guilty to misconduct in a public office at Isleworth Crown Court in July following the circulation of a video on social media that showed a prison officer having sex with an inmate.
