The “suspicious stand” that the Secret Service found in direct eyesight of the Air Force One landing zone at Palm Beach International Airport was an “elevated hunting stand,” FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed in a statement Monday morning.

A suspected sniper’s nest was discovered pointing at Air Force One’s landing zone, the Secret Service said.

According to the Secret Service, the threat was detected after a suspicious hunting stand with direct sight of the Air Force One's stairs was discovered near the airport.
