The anti-Trump ‘No Kings’ protests are back, expected to fill Oregon cities with demonstrators
Four months after tens of thousands of demonstrators marched across Portland and many other U.S. cities to protest President Donald Trump’s aggressive exercise of executive power, a second round is scheduled to take place.
Thousands in Eugene and across the Pacific Northwest are expected to take part in the national “No Kings 2.0” protests Saturday. It’s the third nationwide protest against President Donald Trump this year.
Protesters in Cleveland stood on an I-90 bridge wearing inflatable costumes and holding signs reading “Cle ❤️ Portland” to show solidarity with demonstrators in Oregon.
This form of protest, while not entirely new, gained traction in recent weeks as photos of protesters in frog, chicken and unicorn costumes went viral online.
Court documents from individuals arrested by police outside the ICE facility in Portland reveal the agency has been using undercover informants.
An Oregon man has been charged with shining a green laser at a US Customs and Border Protection helicopter in Portland amid rowdy anti-ICE protests in the city, federal prosecutors announced Thursday.
"We have to stand up for our community as we face a federal administration that is, frankly, hell bent in singling out Portland,” council president says.
