Seahawks, Houston Texans and NFL

C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans offense had few answers for the Seattle Seahawks defense on Monday night. Houston managed just 254 total yards and scored just one offensive touchdown in the 27-19 defeat. A bulk of the yards came in the fourth quarter when the Texans attempted to claw back into the game.
Darnold and the offense actually got off to a hot start with two quick touchdowns in the first quarter that helped Seattle jump out to a 14-0 lead. From there, the Seahawks just held on for dear life. This game probably would have turned into a blowout win for the Seahawks if not for their four turnovers, which kept Houston in it.
With the Houston Texans ruling out veteran slot receiver Christian Kirk for their Monday Night Football matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, the writing could be on the wall for who's expected to see the biggest jump in their role after the bye: rookie wideout Jayden Higgins.
