New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced a plan Monday to build new mixed-income housing on Staten Island's North Shore.Adams said the new project will start construction in 2027 and is a part of his North Shore Action plan.

We’re in the midst of nothing short of a technological revolution,” Adams said at a Monday press briefing. “It’s not the future, it is here and it’s here now.”

New York Mayor Eric Adams announced the city’s first official crypto summit on Monday, while reaffirming his goal to make New York “the crypto capital of the globe.” New York will host a major crypto summit on May 20, just two months after former U.S. President Donald Trump held a similar event at the White House.
