Real Madrid recently suffered a 5-2 defeat in the Super Cup Final against Barcelona in Jeddah. Wojciech Szczesny was sent off in the second half of the game. The game on January 12 was a disaster for Carlo Ancelotti's side.

Barcelona won the Spanish Super Cup in resounding fashion on Sunday, defeating rivals Real Madrid 5-2 in the first edition of El Clasico in the new year. Kylian Mbappe gave Real Madrid the lead just five minutes in but Barcelona played well throughout the first half and were rewarded for their hard work.
