Luigi Mangione’s first Christmas behind bars likely involves a festive meal. In an interview with People magazine, prison consultant Sam Mangel disclosed that Mangione will be given a meal of Cornish hen and green beans.

Sean “Diddy” Combs and Luigi Mangione spent Christmas Day inside the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC), where one report online said cornish hen and green beans were on the menu. However, a Daily News source familiar with the MDC says that culinary option is unlikely.

Prison consultant Sam Mangel said depending on which section Mangion has been housed in, he could either be entirely alone or have some form of company. It was not known whether Mangione was removed from protective custody where inmates are initially taken for monitoring purposes.
