A Boeing 747 cargo plane skidded off the runway after arriving at Hong Kong International Airport and landed in the sea, according to airport authority. Two staff members were killed in the incident that occurred early Monday morning, local time, according to Hong Kong police.

At least two people have been killed after a cargo plane suddenly took an abrupt turn upon landing and veered off the runway and hit the car they were sitting in.

The Emirates flight EK9788, operating as Aerotranscargo, was arriving from Dubai at about 03:50 local time (19:50 GMT) when it hit a vehicle on the north runway.
