Residents in Taylor County, Florida, who defied mandatory evacuation orders have been instructed by the sheriff to write their name and birthday on their arm or leg so they can later be identified. This order comes as Hurricane Helene inches closer to the Florida coast.

Residents who have refused to evacuate the path of Hurricane Helene in Florida have been instructed to write their details on their body in permanent marker. At least one fatality in Florida was blamed on the hurricane so far,
