A tropical depression is likely to form as a tropical wave moves westward into the western Caribbean Sea later this week, the National Hurricane Center said.

A disturbance swirling over the Caribbean Sea on Thursday has now been designated Tropical Depression Nineteen, and forecasters say the system will likely strengthen into Tropical Storm Sara later today.

Tropical Depression 19 as formed in the Caribbean, we will see this strengthen into Sara today. The more land this system interacts with before moving into the Gulf is going to determine how strong it will become by next week.
