The Nintendo Switch 2 rumors are coming to a head, and there are now so many reports suggesting that the console will finally be revealed this week ahead of a June launch that after years of hoping and speculation I’m finally starting to believe them.

After months if not years of leaks about Nintendo’s next console, unofficially called the Switch 2 due to zero Nintendo-released information about it, we have a new report from a few sources that says it may actually be revealed this week.

According to multiple sources, Nintendo will reveal the Switch 2 on Thursday, January 16, but don't expect to see many new games.

Nintendo Switch 2 games have begun to leak ahead of the console's rumored reveal later this month and release date in March.

The leak is from a previously reliable Podcast called Nate the Hate, which said, "I can share with you that Nintendo Switch 2 will be revealed in the coming week… I have been told Switch 2 will be revealed on Thursday, January 16… just a few days from now." (as transcribed by VGC ).

Nintendo’s announcement of the Switch successor is imminent. Just how imminent is anyone’s guess with the company stating that it would reveal info on the console before the end of its fiscal year in March.

If the endless reports and rumours are to be believed, it looks like we'll finally be seeing the Switch 2 very soon. That reveal will reportedly focus on the console itself, with a more detailed look at its games coming later in the year.
