The sheriff's office says the suspect allegedly demanded narcotics from a store employee at a Walgreens on North Division Street on Monday morning.

SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane County Sheriff's Office is searching for a suspect in an armed robbery that happened on Monday. SCSO says that around 10:30 a.m. they responded to the North Division Street Walgreens. A call came in from an employee that says the suspect pulled out a pistol, pointed it at him, and demanded narcotics.

The sheriff's office said first responders provided treatment to the woman, but the woman was later pronounced dead at the scene.
