United States men's national team head coach Mauricio Pochettino insists American players can compete with the likes of Spain and Argentina in terms of talent.

They could care less about the noise that’s generated across comment sections and online forums that diminish MLS as a pipeline for the national team. The reality, though, is quite simple: January camp is not a collection of the country’s best players.

Mauricio Pochettino challenged the players in his MLS-based January camp squad to show why they should be the ones to fill out the player pool.

The United States Men’s National Team enters 2025 with some important competitions on the schedule, and they will begin preparations with their annual January Camp. Today, U.S. Soccer announced the 24-man roster that will head to Florida for two friendlies during the annual camp.
