ATLANTA – Devin Booker was a high school senior at Moss Point (Miss.) when the Phoenix Suns last won a road game against the Atlanta Hawks, 102-95, on March 24, 2014. This means Booker has never defeated the Hawks in Atlanta. He’s come close.

Devin Booker matched his season high with six 3-pointers and scored 34 points, Kevin Durant added 25 points and the Phoenix Suns led wire-to-wire in a 114-106 victory over the visiting Utah Jazz on Saturday.

The Phoenix Suns hadn’t won back-to-back games since last month when beating two of NBA’s worst teams in the Utah Jazz on Dec. 13 in Salt Lake City and the Portland Trail Blazers at home Dec. 15. That alone is an indication of the type of season they’re having.

Devin Booker is no stranger to showcasing his PEs on the court. Earlier this weekend, Book debuted a new pair of Nike Book 1 PEs that seem to take inspiration from the Cortez silhouette. Displaying some Phoenix Suns pride, the shoe is adorned in a clean white leather upper and purple and orange accents throughout as a nod to his team.

Even so, they battled with the Phoenix Suns all the way to the final buzzer. The Suns ended up with the 114-106 win but were forced to play their best players — Devin Booker, Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal — all the way to the final seconds because the Jazz wouldn’t let up.
