Piéton fills an opening left by Karen Parkhill, who became HP’s CFO in August after eight years with Medtronic.

Medtronic (NYSE: MDT) has named Thierry Piéton, currently the chief financial officer of automaker Renault Group, as its next CFO. Piéton will join the medical-device manufacturer effective March 3, taking over from Gary Corona, who's served as interim CFO since last summer following the departure of Karen Parkhill for HP Inc.
