We know who Jermaine Johnson wants as his next head coach with the New York Jets. Early in his third season, Johnson went down with a season-ending Achilles injury during New York’s Week 2 contest against the Tennessee Titans. While rehabbing, the 25-year-old is certainly keeping tabs on the Jets’ search for their next head coach.

There are currently seven head coaching vacancies in the NFL, including the Jets, where Glenn played eight seasons between 1994-2001. He earned consecutive Pro Bowl nods in 1998 and 1999 and led the NFL with two interception touchdowns in 1996.

The Jets are scheduled for the 11th and 12th interviews of their head coaching search on Thursday. Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports reports that the team will meet with Texans offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik on Thursday.
