After a disappointing 27-21 loss to the No. 6 Alabama Crimson Tide three weeks ago, the No. 9 Georgia Bulldogs rebounded with three straight victories, including a 43-35 statement win over the No. 5 Ole Miss Rebels on Saturday. Now sitting at 6-1, Georgia is in a much better position than it was t the end of September.

The Bulldogs outgained Ole Miss 510 yards to 351 and racked up 200-plus through the air and on the ground. Georgia quarterback Gunner Stockton finished 26-for-31 for 289 yards with five total touchdowns and zero turnovers, out-dueling Ole Miss’ Trinidad Chambliss, who was 19-for-36 with three total touchdowns and zero turnovers.
Kirby Smart wasn't too pleased with his Georgia defense, despite a big win over Ole Miss. Georgia football is now 6-1 overall.
A win for Ole Miss would give the Rebels an inside track to their first ever appearance in the game. They're already 3-0 in conference play, and given what's left on their schedule, they'd have a good shot of getting through conference play with only one loss.
