George Pickens has been balling out for the Cowboys since being traded from the Pittsburgh Steelers following the NFL Draft. Pickens' fresh start has rejuvenated his career, and he has since re-established himself as one of the top wide receivers in the NFL.
Pickens is still on his rookie contract since being drafted in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the Steelers. This four-year, $6.75 million deal ends after this season, as he is set to become an unrestricted free agent when the season ends.
Pickens is in the final year of his rookie deal. The Cowboys traded a 2026 third-round pick and a 2027 fifth-round pick to the Steelers for Pickens and a 2027 sixth-round pick.
