PHILADELPHIA – During last offseason’s draft evaluation process, many analysts compared LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels to Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts because of their shared dual-threat ability to throw the ball and make plays in the run game.

Hurts gave an example of how he processes a play. He was asked about his touchdown pass to Dallas Goedert just before halftime Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. The 14-yard TD pass gave the Eagles a 14-6 lead on their way to a 34-6 win.
