The Lake District landscape that inspired the Romantic poet William Wordsworth to write some of his most famous verse remains captivating today. Lindsay Sutton reports.

The trail is a collaborative effort by the Friends of Ullswater Way (FOUW), Cumbria Tourism, the University of Cumbria, Lake District National Park Authority (LDNPA), and Wordsworth Grasmere.
