A Mega Millions ticket sold in Texas just missed the $28 million jackpot but won $2 million, lottery officials said. The ticket matched five winning numbers and the Megaplier but not the Mega Ball in the drawing Friday, Jan. 24, the Texas Lottery said.

No tickets were sold matching all six numbers in Saturday evening’s drawing of the multi-state Powerball lottery. One ticket was sold matching five numbers but not the Powerball in Texas and is worth $1 million.
