The newly elected Democratic senator from Michigan will deliver her party's response to Trump's speech Tuesday to a joint session of Congress.

Freshly-elected Senator from Michigan Elissa Slotkin has been tapped to give the Democratic Party’s official rebuttal to President Trump’s State of the Union Address. Slotkin will deliver the national address within just two months in the Senate.
