Everyone on the outside of this situation is still confused about this trade, including the former majority owner of the Mavericks. Mark Cuban (now a Dallas minority owner) spoke about the trade on the "Your Mom's House" podcast in which he basically said the trade would've never happened had he still been the one making the decisions.

In their first game without Doncic on the roster, the Mavs got destroyed by the east-leading Cavaliers. However, they were without Kyrie Irving, P.J. Washington Jr., Daniel Gafford, Dereck Lively II and Dwight Powell.

Over a month after Luka Doncic was traded, Dallas Mavericks fans are still upset. But there is still one person they have not heard from on the whole situation — Mark Cuban. Until Thursday night, the team’s former owner had not given his whole thoughts on Doncic heading West to play for the Los Angeles Lakers.
