Detroit Tigers name Tarik Skubal as Opening Day starter: 'Easiest decision' for manager
The Detroit Tigers have named their Opening Day starter for the 2025 season. It's no surprise. Left-hander Tarik Skubal — the reigning American League Cy Young winner who secured the AL pitching Triple Crown — will start March 27 for the Tigers against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.
