The halftime show for Super Bowl Sunday is starting to take shape. Kendrick Lamar will headline the mid-game concert, and will be joined by SZA, his frequent collaborator, CNN reported.

For the upcoming Halftime Show, Kendrick Lamar won't be alone as he enlisted the help of frequent collaborator SZA to perform with him.

The Grammy-winning stars, who are currently topping the charts with their collaborative hits, will perform at the Feb. 9 event in New Orleans.

Kendrick Lamar is bringing along an old friend for his Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show performance with the announcement that his frequent collaborator and former label mate SZA will join him on stage.

The show will air live on Fox and will be produced by Jay-Z and Roc Nation for a sixth year. Lamar, who shared in the Emmy for outstanding live variety special for the 2022 edition with Jay-Z, Jesse Collins and other guests such as Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and 50 Cent.

The halftime show at last year's Super Bowl LVIII in Nevada featured Usher as the headline performer, with guest appearances by Alicia Keys, will.i.am, Jermaine Dupri, Lil Jon, Ludacris and H.E.R.
