Injury troubles continue to bite the San Jose Sharks as center Nico Sturm is considered day-to-day with a lower-body injury, head coach Ryan Warsofsky confirmed to Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now.

With the puck inside the Columbus zone, a shot attempt by Sharks defenseman Jan Rutta was blocked by Zach Werenski, who raced up the ice with the puck, carried it into the Sharks’ zone, and sent it over to Fantilli, who beat Georgiev for his 11th goal of the season at the 12:11 mark.

Sturm (lower body) will be a game-time decision versus Minnesota on Saturday, Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News reports. Sturm has missed the last three games with the injury. The 29-year-old is without a point in his last nine games and has four goals and nine points in 36 outings this season.
