MONTREAL -- Patrik Laine scored at 3:20 of overtime for the Montreal Canadiens, who trailed four times before rallying for a 5-4 win against the New York Rangers at Bell Centre on Sunday.

Laine’s game-winner came moments after Artemi Panarin and Vincent Trocheck were stopped point-blank by rookie goalie Jakub Dobes. It also sent the Rangers to their second overtime loss in four games after blowing a third-period lead to the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday.

Montreal Canadiens right wing Brendan Gallagher tallied two points during their overtime victory over the New York Rangers on Sunday evening. Gallagher scored his 11th goal of the season in the opening frame with a tip-in goal.
