Mel Gibson says he didn't know Donald Trump was going to name him one of three 'Special Ambassadors' to Hollywood: 'I got the tweet at the same time as all of you and was just as surprised.'

President-elect Donald Trump on Thursday announced that actors Jon Voight, Mel Gibson and Sylvester Stallone would be “Special Ambassadors” to Hollywood, California.

The actors will serve as his “eyes and ears” while helping improve Hollywood, which Trump called “a great but very troubled place."
