NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Arkansas women’s basketball (8-13) fell to 1-5 in SEC play after a 101-60 loss to Vanderbilt (16-4, 3-3 SEC) at Memorial Gymnasium in Nashville. The Commodores shot lights out from beyond the arc (13-25, 52%) for the entire game and led by as many as 45 points. From the field, the home team finished at 58% (39-69).
BOTTOM LINE: Arkansas visits Vanderbilt after Kiki Smith scored 23 points in Arkansas' 94-62 loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide. The Commodores have gone 11-1 at home. Vanderbilt ranks ninth in the SEC in team defense, giving up 62.9 points while holding opponents to 40.9% shooting.
The Razorbacks are set to begin their final road trip of the season.
