After Lamar finally launched into his Grammy-winning Drake diss track, "Not Like Us," the camera flipped to show Serena crip walking, a dance she famously performed at Wimbledon in 2012, to celebrate her win against Maria Sharapova.

Seven long years after whatever their relationship had been, Drake addressed Serena and Ohanian in his 2022 track “Middle of the Ocean”: “Sidebar, Serena, your husband a groupie/ He claim we don’t got a problem but/ No boo, it is like you coming for sushi.”
