Former New Orleans Saints safety and ALS activist Steve Gleason shared his enjoyment over social media after returning home from a local hospital following a medical event.

Former Saints defensive back Steve Gleason is back home after spending the last six nights in the hospital. Gleason posted a picture to social media of himself and his family outside their home looking at a full moon. Gleason wrote that he felt “reborn” seeing it after being in the hospital.

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Steve Gleason is back home after spending nearly a week in the hospital. Gleason shared photos on social media Tuesday night, showing him at home with his wife and children. “I’ve been inside for six days, so to be greeted by the full (moon), the Oaks, and our family ...
