The Buccaneers trailed the Saints 16-6, as they faced third-and-3 from their 42-yard line. Mayfield dropped back, couldn't find anyone open and decided to scramble. He ran for 10 yards then decided to slide. Unfortunately, his slide came a bit late and Saints safety Will Harris hit him really hard.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are having a Sunday they wish they could do over, and that is despite their new found lead. Despite their ups and downs today with penalties and the defense playing behind, there have been bright spots.

Brady was a divisional opponent of the Saints at the end of his career in his final three seasons with Tampa Bay. On the flipside of the shade, Brady was complimentary of Saints rookie quarterback Spencer Rattler during the team's first handful of drives on the Fox broadcast.
