Three men killed in a plane crash last week in Bath Township are believed to be pilots and a mechanic who were from Mexico, according to township officials.
Three people from Mexico died Thursday when their plane crashed during a training exercise near Lansing. The victims were identified as two customer pilots and a maintenance representative from Duncan Aviation. A company spokesperson said the crash occurred during a stall flight, where pilots practice recovering from aircraft stalls.
On Sunday, Oct. 19, Bath Charter Township officials held a press conference about a fatal plane crash last Thursday evening.

BATH TWP. - Three people are dead after a plane crash east of downtown Bath, according to local authorities. A plane crashed the evening of Oct. 16 near the intersection of Clark and Peacock roads, Ryan Fewins-Bliss, township supervisor, said in a statement. Three people were on the plane and all are confirmed dead, Fewins-Bliss added.
