As the delicate ceasefire between Israel and Hamas takes hold, some aid has begun flowing into the Gaza Strip, where many Palestinians are returning home and beginning to reckon with the destruction caused by the two-year conflict.

The handover came after Hamas’s military wing said it will hand over the body of a hostage that was pulled out Friday to the International Committee of the Red Cross.

Israel held a farewell ceremony for Nepali hostage Bipin Joshi, hailed as a hero of Kibbutz Alumim, before returning his body to Nepal for burial. The body of slain Nepalese hostage Bipin Joshi was sent back to his home country for burial after a moving memorial ceremony at Ben-Gurion Airport on Sunday morning.
