The Netflix movie "Heartstopper," featuring a young adult queer romance plot, will end with a movie on the streaming service.

The hit Netflix series, which ran for three seasons, made the announcement Tuesday morning. “‘Heartstopper’ will return, bigger than ever,” the streamer posted on X. “A ‘Heartstopper’ movie, our final chapter based on Alice Oseman’s upcoming volume six, is coming!!!”

That was the question that had the hearts of Heartstopper fans skipping a beat when Netflix announced that its coming-of-age LGBTQ+ romance series will be getting a movie, officially putting and end to the love story between teens Charlie ( Joe Locke) and Nick ( Kit Connor ).
