Georgia was sitting atop the SEC with a College Football Playoff spot all but secured. But disaster struck in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, as UGA and star quarterback Carson Beck were suffocated by Ole Miss. The Rebels sacked Beck five times and held the Georgia offense to just 246 total yards in the decisive 28-10 win.

The Georgia Bulldogs suffered their second loss of the 2024 season this past Saturday as they were handled by the Ole Miss Rebels on the road. The loss was the Dawgs' first loss to a team not named Alabama since November of the 2020 football season and will sure cause the Bulldogs to plummet in tonight's rankings.

After the Georgia Bulldogs' 28-10 loss to Ole Miss, Georgia has a lot on the line coming into this game. According to SEC football analyst Paul Finebaum, that could include their chance at the College Football Playoff.
