BYU and Utah squared off on Saturday in another edition of the Holy War-- one of the most vicious and heated rivalries in all of college football. And for the first time since 2009, these two in-state neighbors clashed on the gridiron as AP Poll-ranked opponents.
On the heels of making a play that will be etched in BYU fan’s minds for a long time during his team’s 24-21 win over Utah, Bear Bachmeier took his usual understated demeanor to the podium to address the media.

Bear Bachmeier threw for 166 yards and a touchdown, and ran for 62 yards and a score as No. 15 BYU handed No. 23 Utah its third consecutive defeat in the rivalry series.
"BYU freshman QB Bear Bachmeier is capable," Tribune columnist Gordon Monson writes. "He’s more than that, he’s legitimate."
